Macias Receives Conservative Leader Award
Heritage Alliance Honors Texas Conservatives

Bulverde, TX - At a Freedom Texas rally in Dallas last night, the Heritage Alliance honored District 73 (Bandera, Comal, Gillespie and Kendall Counties) State Representative Nathan Macias with their Conservative Leader award for his record of strong, conservative leadership in the Texas House during the 80th Legislative Session.

Based on voting records for over 60 key issues during the session, the award was presented to 16 Representatives who scored 90% or higher in agreement with Heritage Alliance positions.

Richard Ford, Founder and President of Heritage Alliance stated: "I am the most proud of the freshmen representatives…because many of these votes required them to take a difficult stand, in their first session, when members are expected to go along to get along."

"The Heritage Alliance represents and supports strong, conservative family values," said Macias. "To earn their recognition in my freshman session is a true honor and it is my hope to continue providing strong, conservative leadership in the Texas House during the next Legislative Session."
