MACIAS PLEDGES EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP FOR DISTRICT 73
Thanks Supporters for Making Victory Possible

Bulverde - Nathan Macias, the winner of Tuesday's race for State Representative thanked his supporters and pledged to be an effective conservative representative for the Hill Country district.

"This was an amazing victory and I am grateful for the honor and privilege that has been entrusted to me," said Macias, a retired Lt. Colonel who served 20 years in the Air Force.

"We had a tremendous group of volunteers who made the phone calls, knocked on the doors and helped turn out our vote. In a race this close having that grassroots volunteer organization is what made the difference," he said.

"This is a true honor for me and my pledge is to represent all with integrity and provide effective advocacy for our great district," he said.

Since I will not take office until January, I intend to use the rest of this year to visit with individuals and groups throughout the district, and devote this time to listening to the hearts and minds of the citizens.

I also look forward to reaching out to those who supported my opponent. Representative Casteel ran a very spirited campaign and the closeness of this election is not lost on me. I will do everything I can to work with and be available to all the people of the district.
