MACIAS SWORN IN AS STATE REPRESENTATIVE FOR DISTRICT 73 Austin, TX - In a ceremony marking the beginning of Texas' 80th Legislative Session on Tuesday, January 9, 2007, Nathan Macias was officially sworn in as the State Representative for District 73, which includes Bandera, Comal, Gillespie, and Kendall counties. "I am excited to get to work on the issues facing Texas and especially those pertaining to the Great 73rd district," said Rep. Macias. "I look forward to a busy session and hope the citizens from my district continue to be involved in the process of government and come visit us at the Capitol here in Austin." Macias and his staff quickly got to work establishing his Capitol office to prepare for the 140 day session that will end on May 28, 2007.
