MACIAS NAMES STAFF FOR DISTRICT & AUSTIN OFFICES

Bulverde, TX - Today, Representative-elect Nathan Macias named his staff for the upcoming 2007 Legislative session in Austin. After he is sworn in on Tuesday, January 9th, Macias will officially name R. Travis Sabine as Chief of Staff, Dina L. Meyer as Legislative Director, Adam M. Bell as Administrative Director, and Patti H. Johnson as District Director.

Sabine, from Boerne, is a trust manager, a retired Army officer, and served as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives. Meyer is an experienced legislative staff member, coming to the Macias staff from Representative Charlie Howard's office. Bell joins the legislative staff after serving as Macias' Campaign Manager. Johnson, from Canyon Lake, is a longtime active Republican leader, along with her husband, Don. She will be the liaison to constituents in District 73 while the legislature is in session and during the interim.
